Many young women still believe that talking about menstrual a hygiene cannot be done openly due to prevailing social norms, fear of judgment, and long-standing cultural taboos.

Torespond to these gaps, SOLUTIONimplemented a Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHH) initiative to supportadolescent girls aged of 10-19 yrs by distributing MHH kits containing sanitarypads and essential hygiene items and awareness sessions on safe menstrualhygiene practices. The programme focused on improving access to qualitymenstrual products, promoting informed and hygienic behaviors, and fostering asupportive environment that ensures comfort and dignity. All awareness activities wereconducted in a sensitive and participatory manner, encouraging open dialogueand confidence among participants and strengthening menstrual health andhygiene among adolescent girls in the community by ensuring reliable access toessential products and practical knowledge.
