Jal Jeevan Mission(JJM)

The Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in Hazaribagh implemented to provide safe and sufficient drinking water to the households in rural areas through functional tap connections aims to improving the health, hygiene and sanitation status in rural communities by ensuring that they have access to clean and safe drinking water supplies through the development and improvement of water supply systems.

Base Activities for Community Water Supply & Sanitation

Laying the foundation for sustainable village water systems through baseline assessments, VWSC formation and capacity building, participatory planning, transparent fund management, water quality assurance, sanitation ranking, and effective grey water management.

IEC & Community Mobilization Activities

Empowering communities through information, education, and participation—water resource mapping, budgeting, Gram Sabhas, school engagement, SHG involvement, and public celebrations strengthening collective action for safe, sustainable, and accountable village water management
