Mr. Jagdeep Kumar Das, an M.Sc. Agriculture graduate from Birsa Agricultural University (BAU), Ranchi—a prestigious and premier university of Jharkhand—brings more than 15 years of technical expertise in agricultural extension, soil conservation, and sustainable farming systems.His professional journey reflects deep technical engagement across diverse institutions and projects. He has contributed to World Bank initiatives, applying advanced agricultural practices and monitoring frameworks to strengthen farmer livelihoods. At ATMA, he provided field-level technical support, farmer training, and extension services, later leading block-level agricultural planning, capacity-building, and technical monitoring. His tenure with the Soil Conservation Department further enriched his expertise in soil and water management techniques to improve land productivity.Since joining SOLUTION as Agriculture Expert, Mr. Das has been designing and overseeing evidence-based agricultural interventions, integrating technical innovations, and advancing farmer-centric approaches. His core strengths lie in soil health management, farmer capacity-building, and project-based agricultural systems, making him a key resource in driving SOLUTION’s mission of sustainable rural development.
