Jharkhand Jal Chajan Yojna (JJY)

The Jharkhand Jal Chajan Yojna (JJY) in 10 villages of Noamundi block, Jharkhand is a holistic initiative focused on improving water conservation, strengthening natural resource management, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. Reflecting our commitment to environmental stewardship and community development, the program aims to create lasting impacts on local ecosystems and livelihoods. Several Capacity-building and training is a key component of this project, fostering long-term sustainability and empowering communities to drive their own development. Capacity-building initiatives under JJY empowering local communities and farmers through training on sustainable agricultural practices and active participation in the construction and maintenance of Amrit Sarovars for long-term water conservation and livelihood enhancement.

Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY) 2.0

Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY) 2.0 in two villages of Simdega district, Jharkhand is a flagship program focused on increasing irrigation coverage and optimizing water use efficiency in agricultural practices. A critical component of this initiative is capacity building, which focuses on equipping farmers with the knowledge and skills necessary to adopt advanced irrigation techniques and sustainable agricultural practices. This program is pivotal in fostering a resilient agricultural sector that can cope with climate variability and ensure food security. Empowering farmers in two villages of Simdega district through practical field demonstrations under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY) 2.0. The sessions focused on hands-on training in drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, enabling farmers to adopt efficient water management practices, enhance irrigation coverage, and build climate-resilient, sustainable agriculture for improved productivity and food security

Training for Newly Elected Ward Members

The Panchayati Raj system plays a pivotal role in grassroots governance and local development. Recognizing the importance of effective local leadership, a comprehensive training program was implemented for newly elected ward members of 9 blocks under the Seraikella-Kharswan District of Jharkhand. This initiative aims to empower these leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage local governance and drive community development. Capacity building equips ward members with leadership and management skills, strengthens their understanding of roles and responsibilities as well as the functioning of the Panchayati Raj system fostering transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in local governance, enabling them to make informed decisions and drive sustainable development within the wards.

Gram Panchayat Facilitating Team (GPFT)

The Gram Panchayat Facilitating Team (GPFT) Capacity Building initiative strengthens grassroots governance by enhancing the leadership and technical capacities of both PRI representatives and GPFT members. Newly elected PRI members were provided with a structured training program aimed at equipping them with essential knowledge and skills to effectively manage local governance, participate in decision-making, and drive community development initiatives. Similarly, a focused three-day in-house training was organized for GPFT members, recognizing their crucial role in supporting Gram Panchayats.
